MSI drivers for your product
Get MSI drivers from MSI's Download page: choose your product line and model, open the Driver tab, pick your Windows version and download. On MSI motherboards, MSI Center's Live Update, under Support, can install drivers for you. After a fresh Windows install, MSI boards show the Driver Utility Installer once.

The short version
What to install and where it comes from. Every link goes to the manufacturer or Microsoft, never to a copy.
Official files only, nothing bundled
Step by step
Connect and run Windows Update
Go online, open Settings, Windows Update and click Check for updates. On an MSI motherboard, that first check is what makes the MSI Driver Utility Installer appear.
Accept the Driver Utility Installer if it appears
Tick the box to agree to MSI's terms, click Next, choose Select All and click Install. It sets up MSI Center and the drivers together, then you click Finish.
Otherwise, find your model on msi.com
On MSI's Download page, choose the product line and category, or use the search at the top of msi.com and type your model, for example a board name such as MEG Z590 ACE.
Download from the Driver tab
Open the Driver tab and pick your Windows version. Unzip each file and run the .exe inside. Windows hides file extensions by default, so turn on file name extensions in File Explorer to spot it.
Keep them current with Live Update
Install MSI Center, connect to the internet, open it and go to Support, then Live Update. It scans for newer MSI drivers and installs the ones you pick.
Two different MSI worlds
MSI makes complete laptops and desktops, and it also sells motherboards and graphics cards that end up in PCs built by someone else. The driver route depends on which one you own. For a laptop, the model name on the bottom label leads you to a page with every part already matched. For a motherboard, the board model is what counts, not the name on the case, so check the board itself or its box before you search.
The one-time installer on new builds
MSI motherboards come with a helper that appears after you install Windows and run your first update check. It offers MSI Center and the board’s drivers in a single pass. MSI notes that it shows up only that one time. If you skip it, nothing breaks: the same drivers sit on the board’s download page and inside MSI Center.
Graphics cards are a separate job
An MSI graphics card runs on NVIDIA or AMD drivers, because MSI builds the card around their chips. Get the driver from NVIDIA or AMD, or let Windows Update supply it. MSI Center can add extras such as Mystic Light lighting control, but it does not replace the core display driver.
Questions
The installer closed. Can I get it back?
No. MSI says the Driver Utility Installer only pops up once, after the first Windows setup. If you closed it, use MSI Center Live Update or the Driver tab on your model's page.
No internet after installing Windows?
Windows 10 and 11 lack built-in drivers for some newer network chips. Download your board's LAN or Wi-Fi driver on another device, copy it to a USB drive and install it on the MSI PC.
Is MSI Center the same on every product?
No. It is modular, so you install only the feature sets you want. MSI also offers MSI Center S, a simpler version for its business and productivity laptops.
