This site has no accounts and no sign-up, and it sets no tracking or advertising cookies.

The hardware ID lookup

When you paste a model name or hardware ID into the lookup, it is matched in your browser against files downloaded from this site. What you type is not sent to us or stored.

Server logs

Like every web server, ours records basic request data (IP address, the page requested, browser type and time) to keep the site running and secure. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes the same data to deliver pages and block attacks. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not sold or shared for advertising.

Links to other sites

Guides link to manufacturers, Microsoft and, on some pages, software publishers. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
