Intel Iris Xe Graphics driver
For Intel Iris Xe Graphics in an 11th to 14th Gen Core laptop, check your laptop maker first. Intel's own package is Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7092 for 11th to 14th Gen processor graphics. It also lists the DG1 Iris Xe MAX card. Iris Xe on a Core Ultra chip is called Arc and uses a different package.

Step by step
Confirm it is Iris Xe
In Device Manager, open Display adapters. You should see Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics. If it says Intel Arc Graphics, you have a Core Ultra chip and need a different package.
Run Windows Update
Open Settings, Windows Update, then Advanced options and Optional updates. Install any Intel display driver offered there.
Try the laptop maker's page
Enter your model on the Lenovo, Dell, HP, ASUS or Acer support page. Makers often add power and panel settings to the Iris Xe driver, so theirs is the safest choice.
Use Intel's package for a specific fault
Download gfx_win_101.7092.exe from Intel's 11th to 14th Gen page and run it. Intel notes it overwrites the maker's version.
Restart and check the Driver tab
After the restart, open the adapter's Properties and Driver tab. Confirm the new version and test video playback or an external display.
What Iris Xe Graphics is
Iris Xe is the name Intel gave to the better integrated graphics in 11th Gen Core and later laptop chips. In the PCI ID Repository the same name appears for Tiger Lake, Alder Lake and Raptor Lake mobile parts. Which one your laptop has depends on the processor: an i7-1165G7 is Tiger Lake, an i7-1260P is Alder Lake.
Iris Xe also exists as a small discrete card family, DG1, sold as Iris Xe MAX. Intel’s 11th to 14th Gen package lists it too.
Which package covers it
One installer serves all of these chips: Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.7092, dated September 25, 2026, at 744.7 MB. It runs on Windows 11 and on Windows 10 22H2.
Intel’s page also warns that this generic driver overwrites a maker-customised one, and tells business users to prefer their PC maker’s driver. Follow that advice on managed laptops.
A common problem after updating
If external monitors go blank or the screen changes brightness oddly, the cause is often a mismatch with the laptop’s firmware settings. Roll the driver back from the Driver tab, then install the maker’s version.
Questions
Is Iris Xe the same as Arc?
Not for driver purposes. Iris Xe graphics sit in 11th to 14th Gen Core chips and use Intel's 11th to 14th Gen package. Arc graphics on Core Ultra chips use the newer Arc package.
Does my Iris Xe laptop still get updates?
Yes. Intel's page says 11th to 14th Gen graphics are on a legacy software support model, and it still published a new version on September 25, 2026.
Why did my screen flicker after updating?
Intel's installer overwrites the maker's customised driver, which can change panel power settings. Roll back in Device Manager, or reinstall the maker's version.
Does one download cover every Iris Xe chip?
