The short version
What to install and where it comes from. Every link goes to the manufacturer or Microsoft, never to a copy.
Official files only, nothing bundled
Step by step
Identify your Arc hardware
Device Manager, Display adapters. A desktop card reads Intel(R) Arc(TM) A750 or B580. A Core Ultra laptop reads Intel(R) Arc(TM) Graphics.
Update Windows first
Run Windows Update and install pending items. Intel lists Windows 11 and Windows 10 22H2 as supported.
Laptop owners: check the maker
For a Core Ultra laptop, look on the maker's support page. Makers test a version for their firmware.
Download from Intel
On the Intel Arc page, download gfx_win_101.9150.exe and accept the licence. The file is large, so use a stable connection.
Restart and open Intel Graphics Software
Restart, then check the Driver tab for version 32.0.101.9150.
What counts as Arc
Arc is Intel’s current graphics brand. It covers the Alchemist (A-Series) and Battlemage (B-Series) cards, as well as the integrated graphics in Core Ultra processors. Meteor Lake, Lunar Lake, Arrow Lake and Panther Lake chips are all named on Intel’s page.
One driver, many chips
The driver is a large 862.6 MB download because it carries support for several GPU designs. Windows 11 is supported, and so is Windows 10 22H2. Check the date on the page, since the version changes.
Arc Pro is separate
Intel lists Arc Pro workstation cards under a different driver. If your adapter name says Arc Pro, the page directs you there.
Fixing a bad update
If a game crashes after updating, use Device Manager’s Roll Back Driver, or pick an older release from Intel’s Historical Drivers page.
Questions
Does this cover Arc Pro cards?
No. Intel's page tells Arc Pro users to use a separate Arc Pro driver.
Is it compatible with 12th Gen Iris Xe?
No. Iris Xe in 11th to 14th Gen Core chips uses its own package. The Arc page lists Arc cards and Core Ultra processors.
Will it overwrite my laptop maker's driver?
Yes. Intel warns the generic driver overwrites OEM versions, and says corporate users should stay with OEM drivers.
Where are older Arc versions?
Intel keeps a historical drivers page. Use it if the newest version breaks a game.
